The legendary Lefevre Premier line continues with the addition of the new Reebok Premier X28 goal leg pad. Some of the most advanced technology for goaltending equipment was created by the Lefevre design team.
The X28 pad is based around a single break, pre-curved core, allowing the goalie to shut the 5-hole tightly. The boot of the pad features a soft break, allowing the goalie to establish more explosive pushes across the crease while in butterfly.
The leg channel of the X28 features a loose fit with two calf straps, aiding in rotation and seal to the ice. Additionally, the knee straps are adjustable at multiple locations, offering customizable options to suit every goalie's needs.
Like the Premier XLT Pro, the X28 features a stiff face to the pad, providing lively rebounds to the corner and allowing the goalie to quickly recover.
Compared to the Reebok Premier X24, the X28 will offer an upgrade in the material quality and core construction.
If you are a competitive intermediate goalie looking for a pure butterfly style pad offering a perfect seal and excellent rotation, look no further than the Reebok Premier X28 goal pad.

These are the best pad for the price. It gives great protection, including back of leg. This is the easy way to get new pads each year $300 vs $800Review by Hockey Dad (Posted on 5/10/2017)
I've used these pads for a season and they are ok. The construction is not the best. where the top strap is has about a 1/4 in rip on the right pad and I have replaced the boot strap on both pads because the leather somehow got cut. Weird because I play in a Women's C3 league and don't face aggressive skaters. Never had any of the leather straps on my old 1990"s era Itech pads.Review by Lope (Posted on 3/21/2017)
Overall a decent pad for beginners. Offer much more protection than my old pads. Hopefully I can get a few more years out of them.
I got these pads on sale on a whim, was previously using old 30+1 inch Vaughn Velocitys which were too small. Got the no outer break option 32+1 so the transition was a little rough the first game (I'm 5'5). After that these pads play like a dream. Everything that his my legs ends up all the way into the corners and they're pretty well constructed for Chinese made pads. Real nice slide on them too. Finally, I was having some hip tightness issues with two other sets of pads I've used...the problem is not present with these pads!Review by Hollz (Posted on 10/18/2016)
Love the pads except for one glaring issue. My left pad was constructed off center so if the thigh rise is flat against a wall the toe of the pad would be sitting on an angle. (The toe and the thigh rise aren't parallel) make c cuts pretty tough as well as just general movements can get your left thigh rise stuck on the right side. I'm sure this doesn't happen with every X28 but I will start dropping a little more money on pads from here on out.Review by Kyle (Posted on 9/20/2016)
It's only my second years of goalie (before I was a player) and last years I had reebok P3(not pro) and the fist time I had try the X28 I found them really big but after few pratice I absolutly love them! last years, every time I had a shot on the glove that trample my thumb. But this years it never happen! I absolutly love the X28INT. I dont try the XLT so I con't really made a comparaison but if you don't have 2000$ to put on a pro stock...buy X28!Review by J-S F. I got these pads as well as the matching glove and blocker yesterday, and i couldn't be more impressed. These pads are a more comfortable version of the 18k, yet they still manage to be more protective. The sliding ability is off the charts, and the gloves came almost completely broken in. You could wear the glove the day you got it in a game.Review by Guy (Posted on 10/7/2014)
