In combination with the Warrior Brand and legendary goalie gear designer Pete Smith, the Warrior Ritual G3 Sr. pushes the envelope of goaltending equipment and technology to a new level.
The design of the G3 glove features a clean bindingless construction and perimeter which gives the glove less chance of wearing out on the edges and a more solid feel on the hand. The base of the T includes the AxyFlex Tent sytem which keeps rigidity and stiffness for the glove to spring open.
The palm of the glove features the revolutionary removable liner which allows the goalie to not only customizer their fit and break angle between 60, 75 and 90 degree breaks, but also allows the goalie to let the palms of their gloves dry in between uses. In time, this promotes less bacteria growth in the gloves and a better feeling glove over time. These palms attach via a Velcro system over the palm of the hand and thumb area, which has changed from the elastic setup previously used in the G2. Stock, the G3 Sr. comes with the 75 degree liner which is a very natural and suitable for any preference.
The G3 glove features very lightweight and protective materials which aid in not only protection but extra durability as well. The backhand of the glove is an armadillo style padding where it flexes and moves with the opening/closing, but still protects. The wrist area of the backhand is wide open to give the goalie incredible range of motion for any and all types of styles.
In comparison to the Warrior G3 Sr. glove, the G3 Pro will feature upgraded internal foams and materials.
If you are a goalie who is looking for a glove that is one of the most technologically advanced, balanced and lightest on the market without breaking the bank, the Warrior G3 Sr. is the glove for you.
The glove is the lightest I have ever owned. I have small hands and I can get a good grip in this glove to close it. Still needs to be broken in but It feels good and is not bulky. Very cozy inside this glove! Very well made.Review by Joeysallamander (Posted on 3/18/2017)
This glove comes with a 600 break right out of the box. The glove was almost able to be closed completely right out of the box however I took it to my local goalie monkey and had them bake it twice in store so it was ready to go for games. This glove is more for a blocking style goalie than for a goalie who wants to catch the puck . I had a few pucks hit the blocking cuff a few times and they moved where I wanted them to due to the cuff have a slight angle facing away from the goalies chest. I tried on both the pro and senior glove and both felt exactly the same. I could not find anything different other than the pro glove had 1 or 2 layers at most added to the palm but they both closed the same. I do like how you can change the removable liner (2 other degree options).Review by BMW11190 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Just visited a Goalie Monkey store looking for pads for my son, but after trying on this glove and the pro version I bought it!! Feels great off the shelf...I did like the Pro a little better but it is closer than you would like...so much that in felt the cost savings outweighed the slightly better feel of the pro version.Review by Bulldogfallon (Posted on 8/4/2016)
Both are easy to close and fit your hand well....
Very nice job Warrior!!
I got this along with a set of senior level G3. Coming off of the G2 I thought there would be some adjustment periods but there were none. The glove came VERY easy to close. The weight is lighter than the G2, and feels more balanced on the hand. The liner installation process is much more simple, and the protection is still fantastic. It's a bit thinner on the palm than the Pro but the difference is negligible. The quality is also much better. I cannot really tell the difference between this and the pro glove. I would recommend anyone to check this glove out as this is leaps and bounds better than the already good G2 versionReview by ruckus007 (Posted on 6/23/2016)
