All new for 2020, Bauer has introduced their newest pad in the Bauer Prodigy line for goaltenders learning to play the game with the Bauer GSX Prodigy Youth Goalie Chest & Arm Protector. The Bauer GSX Prodigy is specifically designed to provide the easiest experience for every young goaltender before and during their time on the ice.

Starting off with the chest section of the GSX Prodigy, a hybrid floater design is used to provide mobility when moving through the crease. A floating sternum piece is provided to protect this key area from the often chest save, and stomach save. Further down on the stomach section you will find the stomach lined with dual density foam that allows the goaltender to stay mobile while being protected.

Next, on the arms of the Bauer GSX Prodigy you will find a dynamic 3-flex system that allows the goaltender to achieve quality mobility when reaching out for saves and battling for pucks. On the back of the arms, you can find a Velcro arm adjustment system to dial in exactly the fit each goalie wants to achieve in a chest protector. Lining the entire inside sections of the chest protector is Thermomax+ technology which will keep the goaltender cool through long skates where they would otherwise start to feel hot in their gear.
