Starting off with the face graphic of the L12.2 Senior Goalie Leg Pad, you will see their incredibly creative design with thin zones that run vertically down the pad making small turns and creating bigger zones within them.

Starting off with the face construction, the entire L12.2 is a fairly flat design with balanced features throughout. The outer roll is uniform in size through from top to bottom and designed to help prevent pucks from popping over the pad but instead staying in front of the goaltender.

Flipping around to the outer gusset of the pad, the True L12.2 visually looks like a classic Lefevre pad with a consistent shape with a slight bend due to the single break in the middle of the pad, creating a slight curve to better aid in butterfly closure.

On the leg channel, some very exciting features exclusive to True can be seen in the strapping systems of both the True L20.1 and L12.2. Starting from the outside and working our way in, a single strap runs on the upper calf and doubles back to close up the entire leg channel. Opening that up, you will see Trues Fast Rotation System which is made up of two double back straps at the upper and lower calf over two pad that will hug the goaltenders’ leg and create a comfortable and consistent connection to the pad when making any movement in the new True line.

Finishing up the leg channel, the knee stack is similar to anything else seen in previous True pads in shape but features a grip texture on the inner knee, so the goaltender stays more connected to the knee stack when transitioning in and out of the butterfly. Out of the knee block is an elastic strap that can run directly across the knee or down to the calf depending on what the goaltender prefers.

Finally, down at the boot, you will see an elastic toe tie system that looks similar to a skate lace but stretches nicely to two Velcro points that will run through the skate. An elastic toe tie connection helps the goaltender create less stress on their knee all while helping the pad snap back into place while still having the flexibility needed to get quick pushes.

Starting off with the graphic of the True L12.2, True has gone with several zones that all look to explode out of the bottom corner and extend all through the glove.

Continuing on the face of the glove, True has gone with a 75-degree break that is also known as a 600. This closure is design to help a goalie who is looking for a more natural closure that stands up tall and creates a large presentation to the shooter. You will also be able to see the double-T pocket that works perfectly with the closure, helping create that large visual presentation.

Internally, the L12.2 will come as a Game Ready feel, completely lined with Suregrip for a comfortable feel that will help the goaltender stay connected with confident grip through to the end of their session. Padding the palm will be thick HD Foams built and placed to help prevent from any stingers that might occur.

Starting off with the face graphic of the L12.2 Senior Goalie Blocker, you will see their incredibly creative design with thin zones that run vertically down the blocker making small turns and creating bigger zones within them.

Continuing on the True L12.2 Blocker, the board is made up of a thick high density foam board directly over the backhand of the blocker. This board will allow the goaltender to redirect the puck into the corners of the rink with the accuracy they need. The hand position of the blocker naturally sits slightly higher so the goaltender will be able to reach out at puck during in tight situations.

Next on the side, True has gone with a straight finger protection that will help add a little more protection between the goalies’ finger and the stick while creating a comfortable grip on the stick. All throughout the side is high density foams that create the same effect as the face and protect the goaltender all the same.
