New for 2020, Vaughn Custom Sports has released their next iteration in one of the most trusted lines in all of goaltender. The Vaughn Velocity V9 Pro Carbon Senior Goalie Pants improve upon previous velocity models to help improve the performance and experience from a goalie pant.
The Vaughn Velocity V9 Pro Carbon Pant is designed to achieve a wide range of coverage while being specifically constructed for high levels of mobility and protection. Starting up at the waist, Vaughn has added a taller front waist with HD inserts for added protection around the hips of the goaltender. The entire waist is lined with a padded belt that will help quick adjustment while adding protection.
Next, along the front there is a new panel design that gives added flex to the pants that will aid in mobility when leaning in toward shots. This waist also has a flared section that will also help with the flex design in adding more mobility. Around on the back will be a tail bone design with carbon fiber in sections for added protection. Around the hips are molded padding with added cushion pads for both comfort and protection.
Down at the thighs, a new full wrap around thigh guard will make sure the entire goalie’s leg is protected, specifically for the high impact zones. You will also notice the thigh cradle technology that will help increase thigh stability which, helps the thighs stay in place when moving around the crease and providing a reliable blocking surface. Finally, the internals are made of aero-spacer mesh lining for comfort and ventilation.
