Details

A GoalieMonkey exclusive, the Brian’s line of sticks is designed to provide high-end foam core sticks at a lower price point than the competition.

Made in Canada, the Brian’s F17 line is constructed with top-quality materials, beginning with a urethane foam core paddle construction reinforced with full unidirectional carbon laminates on the front and back for added stiffness and durability. The result is an F96 stick with a ‘hard-lam’ structure, similar to that found on other high-end foam core sticks.

The shaft is constructed of a pro aspen wood core with carbon and birch veneer laminates, producing an ideal combination of stiffness and durability.

The difference in the F17 and F96 lies in the outer laminate lay-up. The F17 will feature carbon/glass reinforcement in the front, designed to be resistant to frontal impacts while remaining flexible for better puck play. An additional strip of carbon laminate lines the blade for added stiffness. The F96 is constructed with a thinner unidirectional carbon fiber in the paddle with reinforcements on both the front and backside.

For the goalie looking for a pro-quality alternative to the more expensive top-level sticks from other manufacturers, the Brian’s F17 goal stick is an unbeatable choice.

Product Questions

How does the paddle height on this compare to other brands? I have a 26" Sher-Wood and would like to stay close to the same height.

Goalie Stick

Showed up in the mail in one piece, which is a good thing (I've seen stranger things) taped it up and headed to the rink with it, used it well and brought it back home in one piece, so it's a keeper.

Great goalie stick

My son loves this stick. It is a little heavier than other sticks he has had in the past and that is what he likes about it! It gives him a better feel and can take a beating.

Great Stick

After my Bauer stick of three years broke I needed something affordable, ended up buying this suck and it feels amazing on the ice. Only downfall is when pucks hit the paddle it leaves marks and that the stick seems very bland to me.

Great Stick

I have only used this stick in two games, but it has been very sturdy and taken some good shots. It's nice and light, and with the aggressive curve of the blade it makes for good passes. Its an excellent stick for the price. I normally use a ccm 1060 that I love and this stick is just as good and cheaper. Highly recommend this stick.

Decent stick overall

Ok. So overall this is a great stick for the money. Sure the edges can break down with a hard shot or beating it against the side of the post. The stick has the right about of weight to me. Not to heavy but not feather light. The Brian's logo on the paddle come off after a few shots but I see that as there loss in marketing not mine. For the price of he stick you really can't go wrong. This had become my primary sick.
