Details

Warrior has been a staple in the player stick industry and now continues their push in goalie sticks with the brand new Warrior Ritual CR2 composite goalie stick.

The Warrior Ritual CR2 features a mixture of 3 different technologies all aimed to bring one of the best balanced and durable composite sticks on the market. The CR2 has HiFused construction within the paddle to give rigidity and flex when it is needed. Right in the shoulder of the stick, Warrior has infused VibexLite which is a vibration reduction technology which reduces the sting that can sometimes happen on composite sticks. The HiFused construction also moves the flex zone up the stick giving and caters to a goalies specific shooting technique which allows for a more natural feel for shooting and passing.

On top of these technologies, Warrior has proudly introduced Slide Grip technology which is truly aimed for the goaltender’s style of play. The CR2 has strategically placed gloss gripped ribs on the shoulder for the goalie to strongly grip the stick and a clear matte coating on the shaft for smooth movements but provide enough grip for the hand to stay on the stick. This Slide Grip feeling creates seamless transitions when the goalie is making all passes but giving the best puck control when taking pucks off of the blade.

If you are an intermediate level goalie who wants to combine great feel and durability in a composite stick that caters to both shooting and stopping pucks, the Warrior Ritual CR2 is for you.

Quality at a good price.

I’ve had 3 of these which all lasted much longer than expected. Great performance and durability. Very good stick at such an affordable price.

Great stick

Great stick for the price I got it at. Lighter than what I had before and I am definitely going to stick with Warrior. I highly recommend this stick to everyone!

Great compromise between performance and price.

I have used a warrior RC2 for the last 3 seasons of fairly competitive hockey and it has lasted well maintaining near its original stiffness. Small chips have formed through normal use, however, no damage to the composite material below. I haven't felt any unwanted vibrations as the result of a blocked shot to either the lower or upper part of the stick. In my opinion, this is stick is the perfect balance between price and performance.

Great stick for the price

Great stick for the price. I went from the CCM Premier R1.9 to this stick. Lighter and more lively, a little more vibration. Durability is amazing.
For the price I would get this stick.
-For a little more the CR1 is simply amazing.
I play 3-5 times a week. High level beer league, some college D3, sometimes Junior A practice.

Great Warrior Stick

I’ve always used a foam core in the past, but wanted to transition to composite for a lighter feel and couldn’t be happier with the CR2. Been a huge fan of Warrior’s stick durability in foam core, and would agree that this composite line is no exception in this category. I’m pretty hard on my sticks especially in the upper shaft where I use to deflect pucks a lot, and so far, this composite has held up well. Haven’t had too many issues with the vibrations either, so overall very happy with the Warrior CR2’s durability and light weight at the price.

Great stick

Great goal stick at the right price. Was playing with the ccm premier line switched over to the warrior because the price was right and I liked the grip. Stick is great handles impact and easy to handle the puck. I wish I went with a longer stick I’m 5’9” went with the 25” just seems short- but that’s my performance not stick performance rated....

Hard on my sticks

I picked up 2 of these a month ago. On the ice 3-6x a week.
Have taken many shots to the shaft that shoulda cracked the shafts. They are no doubt better than the other 80$ sticks I have used.

Not sure if these will still be around when I finally break one but I think I would buy another then.

Poor Quality, Chips easily, Not durable at all

I bought this stick thinking I was getting a top of the line stick. The first week I was very happy with the lightness and feel of the stick but I started noticing a lot of nicks on the paddle. After a couple of weeks I noticed some big chunks missing from the paddle caused by pucks and skates hitting it. Some of the chunks were big enough that I had to tape around a few spots on the paddle hoping to keep it in tact . A month after buying it a slap shot from the point snapped the paddle in half. The fibers kept it together but that was it. Not durable at all, do not buy this stick you will notice chunks of the paddle missing after the first use.

Great composite twig!

After looking around the racks to replace an older model Reebok stick, I narrowed my search down to this and the new (CCM) version. While that one felt good, this was just right. I've only used it a couple of times, there are little-no vibration issues in this super light weight composite stick. I looked at all 3 CR sticks, but this one was the best for me at the price point. The CR1 was a bit lighter, but not for the extra $ and the CR3 just felt a bit "cheap." All in all, this is a great stick. I highly recommend that you hold it in your hand before buying to make sure you like it...it does have raised ridges on the shaft that might feel odd, but you're hardly going to notice once the puck drops!

Disgusted

I am done with Warrior sticks. My 13 year old goalie can't have one of these last more than 2 months. For the price that is ridiculously poor durability.
