Brand new for 2022, the sixth iteration of Warrior Goalie’s beloved Ritual line has arrived! Building off the rich history and success of the G3, G4 and G5 lines, the G6 is destined to join them in the pantheon of beloved Warrior gear. The Warrior Ritual G6 Pro+ Senior Goalie Leg Pads are super-lightweight and designed to help goalies get the most out of their equipment.

Making its return from the G5 is Warrior’s CoverEDGE+ technology. Designed to maximize coverage via an innovative face forward design, the face of each piece of G6 gear is brought forward, cutting down the angle to the puck to let you get a piece that would miss traditionally designed gear.

The G6 Pro+ features Warrior’s AirSlide 3.0 landing surface to help enhance sliding. Diagonally oriented channels are designed to create an optimal trajectory when sliding around the crease and are engineered to decrease the overall surface area that contacts the ice, in turn making sliding easier and more consistent on any quality of ice. Warrior has also removed the binding from the inside of the knee to increase overall durability and reduce friction when sliding. Paired with an easily removable polycarbonate slide plate on the knee block, the G6 Pro+ is Warrior’s best sliding pad to date!

A RVH optimized shape on the outer roll makes its return from the G5 on the G6 line. The shape is designed to seal the face and post while in RVH position to prevent pucks from sliding in the gap that can be found on most pads. As with the last few iterations, the thigh rise will be reinforced with HyperComp to give a more consistent shape and increase longevity.

Around on the back of the G6 Pro+ you will find a 360TriFit leg channel, which when coupled with the contoured shape increases connectivity and control of the pad in rotation and dropping.

Warrior has added SlingWrap straps at the calf following the success they have had on the last few lines using the SlingWrap at the knee; allowing for a more customized fit to the player’s liking.

Finally at the boot, the Active response toe and boot straps have been lengthened even more than the previous generation following customer and pro feedback to allow for mor play off the strap and reliving some pressure off of the hips and knees of the goalies.

As in the past iterations of the Ritual line, the G6 Pro+ goalie glove features a removable palm liner that comes in 60, 75 and 90 degree breaks. The stock G6 Pro+ will include a 75 degree liner but is completely replaceable and easily changeable. Inside of the palm is where CoverEDGE+ is visible with added materials that pushes the glove off the hand and closer to the ice. This helps for in tight situations and helps create a more natural hand position for the goaltender. Internally, HyperComp is added to the core of this glove and increases overall protection

Around the entire perimeter of the glove, you will find Warrior’s clean construction which is essentially a bindingless style perimeter to help prevent any premature wear.

The AxyFlex Tee that was so popular on the G5 line makes its return on the G6 Pro+ glove, helping to keep a consistent shape and prevent the tee from collapsing in old age as you see on some other gloves.

The G6 Pro+ glove will feature a single tee pocket, and noticeably extended dimensions at the thumb to create a wider catching shape when compared to the G5.

The Warrior Ritual G6 Pro+ Senior Goalie Blocker is super-lightweight and designed to help goalies get the most out of their equipment.

Making its return from the G5 is Warrior’s CoverEDGE+ technology. Designed to maximize coverage via an innovative face forward design, the face of each piece of G6 gear is brought forward, cutting down the angle to the puck to let you get a piece that would miss traditionally designed gear.

The face of the Ritual G6 Pro+ Blocker offers a thicker board, reinforced with HyperComp to add rigidity and durability to the blocker and provide maximum rebound speed. A 20 degree angle is designed to deflect pucks high towards the glass. The flatter profile presents a larger surface to the shooter and an open cuff is designed for maximum wrist mobility.

Moving around to the palm of the Ritual G6 Pro+, the palm itself is fully removable and can be adjust to a High, Medium, or Low setting or completely replaced with an Intermediate, Medium, Large or XL liner. Stock, the G6 Pro Senior comes with a Senior Large removable palm. Every piece stemming off the blocker palm is highly adjustable with many attachment points for the goaltender to find the exact fit and feel they want out of the G6. Internally, the backhand foam is tapered down toward the fingers of the blocker to help angle to nose down and create a more natural hand position for the goaltender to easily reach toward pucks and present the blocker to the shooter.

Finally, on the side of the G6 blocker, you will find an adjustable contoured thumb and finger protection. This is reinforced with HyperComp for added protection to these small key areas. A side index finger pad can be adjusted and or removed for the goaltenders’ comfort and protection. The thumb piece itself can be angled in different ways and adjusted to be more comfortable on the goaltenders’ hand if desired
