Details

Brand new for 2018, Warrior Sports has unveiled their fourth iteration of the Ritual line dating all the way back to the Ritual G1 which debuted in 2012. Building off of the massive success of the G3, the G4 is built to bring ultimate performance, function and durability all while being the lightest gear on the market.

Starting internally, the G4 glove features HyperComp reinforcements throughout the glove to provide even more palm protection, yet still keeping the snappy shut and feel that goalies loved in the G3. Aiding in the closure of the glove, Warrior has kept the AxyFlex system in the T of the glove which has the ends of the T feed deep into the perimeter of the thumb and fingers side of the glove. Despite the T system remaining the same, the T itself has been trimmed down ever so slightly along the perimeter and even stiffened up along the Spine to give the best overall shape and visual presentation that Warrior could offer.

Moving through to the backhand of the glove, Warrior has revamped the backhand design to resemble a connection much like the GT. This allows the goalie more adjustments internally and along the outside closure as well. However, when you open the glove you will notice a cleaner look with more adjustments across the back of the hand and fingers.

G4 gloves will still come with removable palms which have interchangeable breaks and degrees; however the connection point between the palm and back of the glove has been increased and actually makes the glove feel tighter on the hand.

In comparison to the Warrior Ritual G4 Senior glove, the G4 Pro will feature upgraded internal foams including HyperComp.

If you are a goalie who is looking for the lightest glove on the market, coupled with a game ready feel and removable palms, the Warrior Ritual G4 Pro Senior is the glove for you.

Amazing glove

Lightweight and closes easily. Bindingless build means that there is no wear in the usual spots. Pocket is great a trapping pucks.

Tried so many, now sold on Warrior

I have been through a lot of gloves, and thought I was done looking when I got into Brian's--I used to have so many pop-outs, but Brian's really worked for me.

Then, I got Warrior pads, and I thought it would be great to try their gloves at some point when I could afford to get a pair. Here's all you need to know: I have four Brian's trappers in the back room... but all I wear now is my two sets of Warriors.

Don't get me wrong, I still think Brian's are great gloves. But I'm very much loving the adjustments and play of the new Warriors. The strapping makes them feel like an extension of my hand, and I've experienced a lot of amazing robberies with them, where the puck just sticks and stays.

Yes, part of the reason I love them so much is that they look great with the Warrior pads, but... looks don't overshadow performance--if I thought the Brian's played better, I'd still be wearing them. I am sold on Warrior and once you try them I believe you will be, too.

Epic

Loved the look. Although I was hesitant in moving on from my old and floppy which was getting the job done, to the new specs and lots of velcro. Bit the bullet, shelled out the cash to treat myself to the glove that will hopefully take me to my twilight and may preserve my performance.....took me the standard tweak the adjustments with excitement of new gear while watching tv, hitting with rubber mallet and two skates to get this thing feeling mint. I really hope this glove stands up to the test of time, keeping its shape, weight and protection within reason.....If youre a goalie who is in need of a glove , I would definitely suggest you take a leap of faith and treat yourself to something special.

Excellent Glove

You can't beat this glove. I've had Bauer and CCM Pro gloves before and this one is easily my favorite. Don't sleep on Warrior. This glove is fairly easy to close out of the box and the protection is superior without feeling bulky. As an added plus, it comes with a practice palm insert. The glove's palm design is great, it channels pucks into the pocket every time. Requires a little bit of break in to get that true snap close, but otherwise a really fantastic pro glove with a great price.

Much lighter than the gt sr. Very easy to close. Comfortable, lots of adjustment. An excellent choice for the price.
