The bags with the greatest durability are the ones without wheels. Carry bags with a vinyl "pro" exterior are extremely durable and don't have the wheel components to break. A carry bag will almost always outlast a wheeled goalie bag.

How do you pack a hockey goalie bag?
Goalie bags are not typically intended to carry the pads inside the bag, due to size and weight and get carried separately from the bag. From personal experience, I prefer to pack my bag in reverse order of the order I put on the gear, with the chest protector, mask, blocker, and glove going at the bottom, and skates, undergarments, and pants going at the top.
