Board Construction
High-density Board Padding: The VX1 blocker is built around a rigid core to pop pucks into the corners, complemented by dense foam padding to balance the blocker's strong pop with a sense of control.
Deeper Board Flare: Furthering this blocker's sense of control, the VX1 blocker board flows up into a deep flare, giving the goalie more surface area to place rebounds exactly where they need.
Hand Protection
HD Side & Finger Protection: The VX1 blocker protects the side hand and fingers with high-density foam finger blocks and a molded HD foam sidewall.
Tapered Bottom Edge: The VX1 blocker tapers down to a sharp bevel for a flush, highly-durable seal along the ice.
Fit & Feel
Mesh Palm Gussets: Breathable mesh gusseting provides a plush, padded feel while helping the hand stay cool.
Flexible Cuff: Reshaped from previous Velocity blockers, the VX1 blocker's cuff offers a less-restrictive feel with a more open design and flexible elastic anchorings.
Measurement: Most manufacturers do not provide glove and blocker sizing guidelines for stock options. In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If you are unsure or the goalie is in-between sizes, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
