One-Piece Cuff w/ New 50° Palm Molding: The VX1 glove's cuff combines the rebound-directing flare from Vaughn's two-piece cuff with a lighter, more rigid one-piece construction. Compared to the V10 Pro glove, Vaughn's new 50° palm molding projects a wider pocket (1/2" wider T-span) with curved fingers for a tight, crisp seal from its 600-like closure.
Reinforced T-top: To help keep this glove working its best for longer, the VX1 glove's T is reinforced throughout with rigid injection-molded inserts.
Wide, Split Double-T Web: Vaughn's VX1 glove projects a wide, funnel-shaped pocket with Vaughn's "Split Double-T", projecting the wider pocket of a double T, with the snappier feel of a single T.
Fit & Feel
Deep, Molded Thumb: Carried over from the V10 Pro glove, the VX1 glove's back thumb allows for a roomier fit, with a greater range of adjustment.
Breathable Mesh Lining: Vaughn's VX1 glove is lined down to the finger stalls with a soft, breathable mesh to help keep cool and comfortable.
Dual-Sided Wrist Strapping w/ Higher Position: The VX1 glove fastens higher up the wrist compared to previous Velocity gloves. On the ice, this allows for a wider range of motion with a comfortable, more ergonomic mobility.
Protection
Game Ready Palm: Featuring Vaughn's game ready palm padding, VX1 glove is ready to lock down the posts with minimal break-in.
High Density Foam Backhand Padding: HD foams pad the VX1 glove's backhand, arranged into a flexible, segmented design to protect the hand without affecting the glove's closure.
Measurement: Most manufacturers do not provide glove and blocker sizing guidelines for stock options. In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If you are unsure or the goalie is in-between sizes, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
