Single Core w/ Single-Break Outer Roll: Between their thinner profile and a softer single-break flex, the Nitro Junior pads navigate the crease with a softer, youth-friendly feel without compromising puck control.
Traditional, Knee Roll Face: Evolving from True/Lefevre's Catalyst pad lineup, the Catalyst Nitro Junior pads take the ice with a classic knee roll face, comprised of dense foams that give the pads a wider range of rebound response.
Centered Toe Bridge w/ Elastic Pro Laces: Elastic toe ties secure the pads while allowing more give compared to skate lace toe ties, improving edge control and greatly reducing lower-body strain.
Knee-to-Floor: Without shoes or skates, measure the vertical distance from the floor to the middle of the knee cap.
Thigh Rise: Largely player preference, K-t-F is primarily used to fit the pad. True's retail stock pads are built with a +2 thigh rise.
