Soft-Stiff Flex Profile: The Phenom Junior goalie stick's combination of a soft-flex shaft with a stiff paddle helps to keep a consistent response in the crease, while its softer shaft loads more flex energy to help fire pucks down the boards.
Unidirectional Carbon w/ Fiberglass Composite: Rigid composites layered in parallel down the shaft help to channel flex energy down through the paddle more directly and efficiently.
Measurements: Manufacturers do not typically offer sizing guidelines for goalie sticks as individual play styles, stances, comfort preferences, and body dimensions vary widely.
Fitting: As a general guideline, start with a stick in the same age group (Youth, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior) as the rest of your equipment. Then, refer your height against the above table to find a generally recommended paddle length.
