Quarter Construction
Versacomp w/ StanceFlex Plus: Bauer's Versacomp composite quarter offers a highly durable, lightweight construction, with integrated StanceFlex Plus to reduce pressure and discomfort around the ankles.
Upgraded Impact Protection Toe Cap: Bauer's 2024 Elite goalie skates incorporate a new, reinforced toe cap that ensures proper impact protection at the highest levels of competition.
Fit & Comfort
Anatomical Comfort Edge Collar: To pad the ankles and reduce uncomfortable rubbing, the skates feature an Anatomical Comfort Edge collar.
Comfort Liner: Lining the skates, Bauer's Comfort Liner wraps the ankle and foot in moisture-wicking padding to keep the skates comfortable and minimize negative space.
Elite Ankle Padding: Thermoformable foam pads negative space around the ankles to ensure a snug fit with all-game comfort. Combined with the Low Profile Felt Tongue, the Elite goalie skates offer a form-fit with reduced ankle bite.
Chassis & Wheel Package
Hi-Lo Frontloader Chassis: This dynamic chassis leans the goalie onto their toes by elevating the heels. In the crease, the Hi-Lo Frontloader Chassis promotes a natural forward lean, supporting a proper ready stance.
4-wheel w/ Heel Gap: The 3rd and 4th Hi-Lo chassis wheels are spaced to offer a snug and secure boot strap placement.
59mm Hi-Lo Court Wheels w/ ABEC 5 Bearings: 82A 59mm court wheels provide a solid, planted feel, complimented by smooth ABEC 5 Bearings.
Measurements & Fitting: For senior skates it is generally recommended to size 1.5 down from your US street shoe size. To ensure your skates fit properly, push your toes forward against the toe cap, and check the gap between your ankle and the skate's boot with your fingertip. Ideally, your skates should hug each side of the foot without creating painful pressure points or leaving too much space between the foot and the liner.
Konekt & Konekt HF Skates:
Sold in whole sizes. For those wearing half-size skates, it's recommended to size one half down.
Pro & Elite Skates (Performance Fit System):
Fit 1: Low volume boot (narrow fit around the top of the foot, heel, and ankle) with a narrow forefoot and toe box.
Fit 2: Medium volume boot (neutral fit around the top of the foot, heel, and ankle) with mid-width forefoot and toe box.
Fit 3: High volume boot (wide fit around the top of the foot, heel, and ankle) with wide forefoot and toe box.
