Laced-in, 40° break: A unique 40° break angle opens wide across the hand, closing with a neutral, whole-handed feel similar to a 590 glove.
Single-T Web: A Single-T web gives the X4 glove a wide pocket, with a snappy closure.
Game-ready Palm: The Optik X4 glove complements its snappy Single-T closure with a smooth, game-ready closure.
Build
Bindingless, Segmented Backhand Protection: Segmented padding provides the necessary backhand protection without compromising the glove's snappy, game-ready closure.
Beveled Thumb: This glove's beveled cuff-thumb is shaped to keep a more roomy feel in the thumb, while also helping to direct pucks into the pocket.
Fit & Comfort
Floating Wrist Strap: A floating wrist strap helps to keep the glove snug and comfortable without having to lock down the goalie's wrist.
Traditional Strapping: The Optik X4 glove secures with a plush hook-and-loop strap across the backhand, along with a padded, easily adjustable webbing strap at the wrist.
Embossed Synthetic Suede Lining: A high-tack embossed lining, similar to SureGrip, gives the Optik X4 glove a controlled, comfortable feel all game.
Hand Length: Measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
Fitting: In most cases, sizing to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. To ensure proper control, the glove/blocker should feel snug across the back of the hand with the fingers reaching the end of the finger stall(s).
