Torso & Shoulder Protection
Molded HD Foam Sternum Shoulder Protection: To protect the upper torso and shoulders from high-speed pucks, the EFLEX 6.9 chestie's shoulder caps and floaters are molded from HD impact foams in an ergonomic shaping.
Dual-density Rib Protection: The EFLEX 6.9 chestie offers dynamic impact protection, combining high-density (HD) foams to disperse the initial impact energy, with lower density foams beneath to soften and absorb residual energy.
Arm Protection
Compression-molded HD Foam Bicep & Forearm Protection: The EF6.9 chestie wraps the forearms and biceps with breathable, perforated foams, compression-molded to help retain a rigid, protective shape.
Adjustable FlexMotion Shoulder Floaters w/ Quick-release: Allowing goalies to dial-in their perfect fit, this chest protector's shoulder floaters are formed with a flexible, segmented design and affixed with quick-release, easily-adjustable Velcro® strapping.
Independently Adjustable Elbows w/ Comfort Fit Cap: For further adjustability, the EF6.9 chestie's elbow caps are secured with easily-adjustable elastic strapping. For additional protection against off angle shots, CCM has implemented additional HD foams just above the elbow.
Breathability & Comfort
Breathable Perforated Foams w/ AER-TEC Mesh: CCM's AER-TEC system implements perforated foams, topped with a breathable mesh through the belly, spine, torso, and arms to help ventilate heat.
AER-TEC Backplate: CCM’s AER-TEC backplate is formed from breathable perforated foams with easily-adjustable shoulder and rib tension.
Height: Have the goalie stand up straight against a wall or door, then measure vertically from their heels up to the top of their head.
Arm Span: With the goalie's arms extended out horizontally, measure across from wrist bone to wrist bone.
