Replacing the Axis XF glove, CCM's Tacks Pro goalie glove combines the classic, fan-favorite glove feel with a premium lining and responsive, lightweight build.
Build
LiteCore Cuff: Built around a rigid one-piece injection-molded cuff, the Tacks Pro glove feels quick and responsive in the crease while also ensuring confident wrist protection and a strong pop off the base of the cuff.
Stickhandling Notch: Built for quick plays, the Tacks Pro glove features a distinguished notch between the cuff and the pinky, allowing for a tight, communicative feel when playing the puck.
HD FlexMotion Backhand: Segmented high-density impact padding ensures proper protection against stray pucks and sticks without compromising the Tacks Pro glove's smooth closure.
Comfort Mesh Fingerstalls w/ Neoprene Thumb & Pinky Loops: With athlete and consumer feedback in mind, the Tacks Pro glove revives a more traditional inner build. A combination of comfort mesh fingerstalls with neoprene thumb and pinky loops gives the Tacks Pro glove a timeless, controlled sense of comfort, complemented by plush modern materials.
Break Options
580 Break: Built upon their pro-spec 580 break, CCM's 580 projects a deep funnel shape with an offset pocket and snaps over with a smooth fingers-to-palm closure.
590 Break (Stock): Projects wide across the palm and fingers with a pocket centered closer to the cuff. Closes in-line with the glove's palm break for a whole-handed, fingers-to-mid-thumb feel, sealing the fingers slightly over the cuff.
600 Break: CCM's 600 break offers their most baseball glove-like closure with a whole-handed, pinch-like closure. Projects a deep funnel shape from the fingers and palm, leading into a wide, more centered pocket.
Palm Protection Options
Game Ready Palm w/ D3O® Protection (Stock): Stock, the Tacks Pro glove is built to suit a wide range of goalies with a game ready palm, balancing off-the-shelf playability and solid all-around protection. Built for the highest levels of competition, an additional layer of reactive, D3O® palm protection backs the standard game ready padding. Found frequently in high-end motorcycle gear, D3O® Smart Material tightens its molecular structure as force is applied; hardening on impact to absorb and redirect impact energy, while remaining more pliable at rest.
Game Ready Palm w/o D3O®: CCM's most flexible palm out of the package, removes D3O® layer in fingers.
Pro Palm: Thicker palm and finger padding to comfortably protect against higher-level shooting with added D3O® layer in the fingers.

T/Pocket Options
Skate Lace Vortx Double-T Pocket (Stock): Seen on the back of the glove, CCM's new Vortx pocket maximizes pocket depth with a deep, circular rear profile. Complemented by skate lace webbing, the Vortx pocket not only offers more room to snag pucks with but communicates exactly how the puck hit the pocket.
+1" Double-T: CCM's straight, Double-T web maximizes pocket depth and visibility, adds extra inch across the T.
+1" Single-T: Snappy single-T pocket with additional width, 1" added across the T.
Single-T: CCM's standard Single-T pocket, removes additional width across the T.
Floating Single-T: Single-T pocket that anchors into the palm with extended lacing, adding pocket depth.
Strapping Options
Cross Form Strap (Stock): CCM's plush, x-shaped cross form strap offers 4 points of easy adjustment across the back of the hand. On the ice, CCM's Cross Form strap holds a snug fit without needing to lock down the goalie's wrist.
Traditional Leather Strapping: Traditional leather wrist strapping with a plush padding secure the wrist and lower palm.
Palm Material Options
SensaGrip Lining (Stock): The Tacks Pro glove is lined with a tactile embossed synthetic suede, layered beneath with form-fitting memory foam padding. In combination, CCM's SensaGrip palm lining molds to the goalie's unique grip shape after just a few skates.
SureGrip: A high-tack synthetic suede, embossed with a fine moisture-resistant texture.
HEXA+ Palm: A plush synthetic suede with a hexagonal embossing to enhance grip.
Hand Measurement: In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If a more exact fit is needed, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
