Board Construction: All SLR4 Pro Carbon blockers are built around a high-density padded core, topped with a rigid composite for a strong, long-lasting pop. Featuring a sharp flare, the SLR4 blocker's board prioritizes rebound velocity with laced down face.
Finger Protection: Standard on all SLR4 PC blockers, curved, high-density finger protection overlaps to ensure complete coverage against stray pucks while staying mobile. Reinforcing the fingers, Vaughn's QuickSlide material helps to reduce friction and enhances durability.
Side Wall Protection: Redesigned for the SLR4 Pro Carbon blocker, expanded side shield dimensions, reinforced with high-density foam inserts and topped with Vaughn's Pro Carbon layering. A plush thumb pad helps to further protect the thumb and hand with a lightweight mesh padding.
Palm Positioning: Vaughn builds all SLR4 Pro Carbon blockers with the palm affixed higher up the board. In practice, this prioritizes coverage, allowing for a flush, paddle-down seal; complimented by the board's sharp flare.
Palm & Sizing: Featured on all SLR4 Pro Carbon blockers, Vaughn's embossed suede, VX palm, offers a high-tack, highly-responsive point of control, treated with an antimicrobial agent to help it stay fresh.

Measurement: Most manufacturers do not provide glove and blocker sizing guidelines for stock options. In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If you are unsure or the goalie is in-between sizes, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
Vaughn Custom Sports recommends being fitted at a certified retailer and does not provide sizing guidelines for gloves & blockers.
