Pad Construction
Composite-reinforced Thigh Rise: Continuing their year-by-year refinement, the Catalyst Nitro Pro pads are built to put down a tight seal with a thin, composite-reinforced thigh rise, complemented by stiff foams that help to keep a rigid shape and fire pucks away from the 5-hole.
SCF Core Padding: New for the Catalyst Nitro Pro pads, SCF foams not only reduce weight compared to previous Catalyst pads, but give goalies greater room to control rebounds with a tight balance between pop and control.
Adjustable Stiffness Knee Stack: Also new for the Nitro Pro pads, an adjustable knee stack anchoring allows goalies to tighten or loosen how the knee stack interacts with the pad's core.
Diamond Glide Inner Edge: Standard for the Catalyst Nitro Pros, True's Diamond Glide inner edge material gives goalies a confident balance between speed and control across soft, rough, or fresh crease ice.

Single Break, Thin Stiff Core: Stock, True's Catalyst Nitro Pro leg pads ship with a stiff single break core, complementing their newer thinned profile. On the ice, the Nitro Pro pads' single break with stiff flex puts down a rigid 5-hole while allowing a bit more flex in the thighs.
Single Break Outer Roll: A single-break outer roll further complements the Catalyst Nitro Pro pads' combination of springy padding with a more flexible thigh.

Outer Roll Options
No Break: Helps to reduce skip over and hold the pads' tight seal and flatter, stiff profile.
Single Break (Stock - *Single Break Core Only): Helps the pad hold its shape and reduces skip over while allowing a bit more flex in the thighs.
Double Break (*Double Break Core Only): Outer roll breaks above and below the knee, maximizes knee-thigh flex.
Leg Strapping
Fast Rotation System: True's FRS strapping refers to a plush inner calf wrapping with easily-adjustable tension at the top and bottom of the calves. In practice, True's FRS strapping allows goalies to fine-tune how their pads rotate and control from the calves.

Regular, 110° (Stock): Narrower boot allows for a tighter stance with more mobility flex at the ankles.
Open, 120°: Widest boot option, sits the pads higher on the skates, improving rotation speed while also maximizing butterfly width and post coverage.

Mid Stiff (Stock): Stiffer boot helps to hold wider butterfly and post coverage with a bit less mobility in the ankles.
Flex: Soft flex boot option, allows for a tighter stance with better mobility at the ankles.

Toe Bridge & Tie Options
Centered, PCS Toe Bridge w/ Hybrid Pro Lace Ties (Stock): New for the Catalyst Nitro Pro leg pads, True's unique PCS toe bridge is shaped specifically to hug the posts, giving tight positioning at the posts a quicker, more confident feel. Hybrid Pro Laces secure the pads while allowing more give compared to skate lace toe ties, improving edge control and greatly reducing lower-body strain.
Centered, PCS Toe Bridge w/ Push Bungee Lace Ties: Function similarly to Hybrid Pro laces, but allow more stretch around the skates with elastic Velcro® strapping. Additionally, the Push Bungee ties anchor the toe bridge with a short static lace to keep a tighter feel when pushing off the posts.
Centered, PCS Toe Bridge w/ Skate Lace Ties: Traditional skate lace toe ties with a centered high density foam toe bridge.
Knee-to-Floor: Without shoes or skates, measure the vertical distance from the floor to the middle of the knee cap.
Thigh Rise: Largely player preference. As a general recommendation, measure from mid-knee cap to just above the mid-thigh.
