Advanced from their XF Pro goalie stick, CCM's Vizion goalie stick is built to play the puck with a dynamic blade design and shorter shaft, complemented by steep shoulders for precision paddle control.
Design
Evo Blade: CCM's Evo blade design combines a soft, rounded heel with a rigid squared toe. On the ice, the Vizion stick plays tight in the crease while its squared toe confidently stops pucks at the boards.
Short Shaft: Complementing its hybrid Evo blade, the Vizion stick's shorter shaft offers a tight, responsive feel in the crease and playing pucks behind the net.
Variable V-Shaped Shaft: Familiar to fans of CCM's XF Pro goalie stick, the Vizion stick's variable geometry shaft tapers from a traditional square, down to a V shape at the paddle shoulders.
Steep, Rounded Paddle Shoulders: CCM's steep, rounded paddle shoulders allow the fingers to position with greater leverage over the paddle. In combination with its Variable V-Shaped Shaft, the Vizion stick moves with unmatched precision.
Construction & Materials
AluPli Composite: CCM's AluPli combines light layers of aluminum with high-strength Sigmatex carbon fiber layers, designed to maximize impact resistance without compromising the stick's lightweight feel and responsive flex.
Sigmatex Spread Tow Carbon Fiber: For over 25 years, Sigmatex has been a top choice in the aerospace and automotive industries for producing high-strength, ultra-lightweight carbon fiber textiles. Seen with the stick's distinctive checkered carbon pattern, spread tow carbon fabrics are woven in a 90° checkerboard pattern from individual strips containing thousands of carbon filaments (tow).
One-Piece Paddle-Blade: Formed in a single mold, CCM's one-piece paddle-blade construction gives the Vizion goalie stick a rigid, more responsive feel, ready to fire pucks away with a direct, consistent flex.
StikTak Coating: CCM’s high-tack, waved StikTak coats the Vizion goalie stick's lower shaft and paddle shoulders, helping to keep a tight, moisture-resistant grip.
Manufacturers do not typically offer sizing guidelines for goalie sticks as individual play styles, stances, comfort preferences, and body dimensions vary widely. As a general guideline, start with a stick in the same age group (Youth, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior) as the rest of your equipment. Then, refer your height against the above table to find a generally recommended paddle length.
The information in this fit chart was provided as a general fitting guideline, not specific to any one manufacturer of hockey goalie sticks. This guide cannot guarantee a perfect fit, as equipment manufacturing and individual preferences can vary. For more personalized guidance, please contact our customer support team.
