Chest & Shoulder Protection
Squared HD Foam Shoulders: The XP Pro chestie is built for confident coverage with squared shoulders to help project a wider profile. To ensure proper collarbone protection, the XP Pro's shoulder floaters are built around a rigid core and padded with high-density impact foams.
Extended Shoulder Blade Wrap w/ Widened Spine Padding: For further protection, Vaughn's XP Pro chest & arm protector features HD foam layering that extends over the shoulder blades and continues down into a broad upper spine padding.
Torso & Arm Protection
High-density Foam Elbow Caps: Vaughn's XP Pro chestie wraps the elbows in high-density impact protection, arranged into flexible segments for a seamless and highly adjustable fit.
Flexible Rib Protection: The XP Pro chestie is built to move with the goalie, wrapping the ribs in flexible, high-density padding segments.
Flat, Wide Elbow Profile: Vaughn's XP Pro chestie protects the elbows with high-density floaters, formed to maximize coverage with a wide, flat profile.
Height: Standing up straight against a wall, measure from the base of the heel to the top of the head.
Fitting
Chest/Arm Length: Compared to Vaughn's mainline Velocity chest protectors, the XP Pro's sleeves are cut about 1" shorter, one size down from the chest size,i.e., a large chest protector will have the arms from a medium chest protector.
Chest/Shoulder height is fixed; in most cases sizing to your chest size should provide a proper fit.
If you tend to need more length in the arms, note that sizing to your arms may leave a more roomy fit through chest/shoulders.
