Build
Dense, Impact Protection: To ensure proper protection, without adding excess bulk, the VX1 Youth blocker's sidewall, finger blocks, and board are padded with varying densities of impact foams.
Steep, Bindingless Board Flare: The VX1 blocker board flows smoothly up into a steep flare, giving goalies more surface area to place rebounds exactly where they need.
Lower Palm w/ Tapered Bottom Edge: The VX1 blocker tapers down to a sharp bevel, complemented by a lower palm positioning that makes it easy for goalies to manipulate and pick up their stick.
Fit & Feel
Mesh Palm Gussets: Breathable mesh gusseting provides a plush, padded feel while helping the hand stay cool.
Contoured Cuff: The VX1 blocker's cuff is shaped with an ergonomic contouring, allowing the blocker to move more naturally with the goalie.
Measurement: Most manufacturers do not provide glove and blocker sizing guidelines for stock options. In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If you are unsure or the goalie is in-between sizes, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
