Waist & Spine Protection
Segmented, High-Density Waist: Offering a balance of mobility and protection, Vaughn's Velocity V10 PC pants are padded around the waist with flexible segments of high-density impact foam.
Rigid Hip Padding: For further protection, these pants pad the hips with a rigid, molded core layering, surrounded by high-density foams.
HD Padded Tailbone & Spine w/ Carbon Inserts: To ensure complete protection, segmented high-density foams, reinforced with a rigid composite, help to protect the tailbone up to the lower spine.
Thigh & Groin Protection
Multi-segmented Groin Flaps: For a flexible feel that doesn't compromise protection, the V10 Pro Carbon pants feature double-layered groin flaps, arranged in multiple segments and split from the crotch up to the hips. On the ice, this gives these pants a protective feel regardless of butterfly positioning, with additional carbon-reinforcement to protect at the highest levels of competition.
Full-wrap Molded Thigh Guards: Vaughn's Velocity V10 Pro Carbon goalie pants fully-wrap the lower thighs with rigid protection, comprised of a molded plastic core, wrapped in high-density impact foams.
Extended Inner Thigh Padding: Vaughn's lightweight SportMesh offers an additional layer of padding, extended all the way down the V10 PC pants' inseam.
