Construction
Two-piece Core w/ Stiff Thigh Rise & Medium Break: The Alpha S50 pads are built to lock in a tight, springy 5-hole seal while allowing a bit more flex compared to the top-end Alpha Surge pads.
"Locked" Inward-Flex, 90° Boot: A 90° boot with Warrior's revised, "Locked" boot flex hugs the goalie's leg and ankle shape with a natural, more ergonomic feel. Compared to the forward-and-back "Hinged Boot" from the R\G7 pads, the Alpha S50 mid-stiff "Locked Boot" is built to flex only inward, allowing for a tight stance with a more confident, connected feel at the ankles.
Knee Stack
Advanced Fastening System Knee & Calf Plates: Rigid C-Shaped HyperComp brackets anchor the knee and calf plates into the pad's core. On the ice, this rigid construction helps the pads move with an unmatched balance between speed and stability.
SlidePlate Knee Stack Facing: Unique to Warrior leg pads, replaceable polycarbonate SlidePlates cover each knee stack, reducing friction against the ice for quick and effortless slides between the posts. For those who prefer a more tractive feel, Warrior's SlidePlates are easily removable.
Fit & Feel
Streamlined Knee & Leg Channel: Reshaped for the new Alpha lineup, an open, more streamlined knee-leg channel helps to cut excess weight and material, improving speed and ease of mobility.
Precision-adjustable Strapping: Built to suit a wide range of goalies and play styles, the S50 pads secure with simple adjustments across the knees and calves. Complemented by the tool-less adjustability of Warrior's ARS heel and toe tie strapping, these pads make it easy to fine-tune how the pads fit, control, and rotate down through the boot.
Floor to Knee: Without shoes or skates, measure the vertical distance from the floor to the middle of the knee cap.
Thigh Rise Height: Measured from knee cap to the desired thigh rise heigh with a bent leg.
Warrior's retail stock pads are built with a +1.5 thigh rise for SR, +1 for INT & JR, and +.5 for YT.
Thigh rise shown for SR custom pads only, as thigh rise is largerly player preference. F-t-K is primarily used to fit the pad.

Warrior equipment that has been used outside of its intended purposes, abused, misused, or damaged from contact with a skate, stick, boards, goals, benches, etc., will not be warrantied. Foam Core and Wood Goalie Sticks are excluded from all warranties. Under warranty Warrior offers a one-time repair or replacement.
Warranty duration varies by product type:
180 Days: Leg Pads, Catch Gloves, Blockers (Ritual G3 or Newer), Masks and Cages.
90 Days: Chest & Arm Protectors, Jock, Knee Guard and Pants (Ritual G2, Ritual-X, or Newer)
30 Days: Composite Goalie Sticks, Bags, and Accessories
