LiteXCore™ Board w/ High-density Padding: CCM's LiteXCore blocker board, a highly-rigid injection-molded board core, pops pucks into the corners without adding excess weight.
Centered Palm: A centered palm construction centers the blocker's weight evenly over the hand. On the ice, the Tacks Pro blocker's centered palm rotates and moves with an effortless feel.
FLEXMOTION Cuff: Carried over from CCM's Axis XF blocker, the Tacks Pro blocker's dense cuff/wrist padding wraps the wrist with three flexible segments.
Hand Protection
HD Finger Protection w/ D3O® Smart Material: The Tacks Pro blocker protects the fingers with high-density foam finger blocks and a layer of reactive D3O® smart material for the index finger. Found frequently in high-end motorcycle gear, D3O® Smart Material tightens its molecular structure as force is applied; hardening on impact to absorb and redirect impact energy, while remaining more pliable at rest.
Molded X-Stiff Sidewall: CCM's Tacks Pro features a rigid injection-molded sidewall, offering confident side protection and helping to reduce flex between the blocker board and sidewall.
Palm Base Options
Grey Nash® (Stock): A high-tack synthetic suede palm with a soft texture, enhancing grip as the palm absorbs moisture.
Thin KK105 Synthetic Suede: Similar in feel to Nash® palm with a thinner construction, prioritizing feel and feedback.
SureGrip: A high-tack synthetic suede, embossed with a fine moisture-resistant texture.
Palm Overlay Options
HEXA+ Overlay (Stock): Padded synthetic suede with a hexagonal embossing, providing both a tractive and plush grip.
Hand Measurement: In most cases, a catch glove and blocker sized to the same age group as the goalie's leg pads should provide a proper fit. If a more exact fit is needed, measure from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger.
