Built around True's HZRDUS PX4 pad architecture, the HZRDUS L95 pads distinguish themselves with excellent performance-per-dollar and a Heritage Lefevre aesthetic. An evolution from the L20.2 pads, True's HZRDUS pads take the crease with a rigid core and springy padding.

Core Construction

Redesigned, Composite Reinforced Thigh Rise: Compared to the previous L20.2 leg pads, the HZRDUS L95 leg pads feature a 30% stiffer thigh rise to ensure a tight pad seal. With its high-strength, low-weight composite reinforcement, the new HZRDUS L95 thigh rise measures 40% thinner than the L20.2 pads, easing pad overlap and giving the pads a lighter, more agile feel.

Stiff, Flat Face Build: Evolving from True/Lefevre's L20 line of pads, the HZRDUS L95 pads are built around a stiff core wrapped in high-density padding to fire pucks off the pad. Complemented by their clean, flat-face appearance, the HZRDUS L95 pads deliver precise, high-speed rebound control.

Open Boot Angle: A stiffened, more open boot angle encourages the HZRDUS L95 pads to sit higher on the skates, easing pad rotation, and improving coverage at the posts.

No Break Outer Roll: The HZRDUS L95 leg pads feature a stiff, no-break outer roll that reinforces the top butterfly edge to help reduce skip over and ensure a tight 5-hole seal.

Fit & Comfort

Hybrid Pro Lace Toe Ties: True's Hybrid Pro Laces secure each boot while allowing more give than traditional skate lace toe ties, offering improved edge control and greatly reducing lower-body strain.

True/Lefevre's Fast Rotation System: FRS strapping secures the pads with a wide, plush wrap that's internally adjustable at two different points for precision tuning of the pad's fit. Additionally, True/Lefevre's FRS helps to better balance the pad's weight around the goalie's calf, improving pad rotation and stability.

Skate Lace Single-T Pocket: Standard on True Intermediate gloves, an offset Single-T promotes a smooth, snappy closure, complemented skate lace webbing for better control in the pocket.

590 Break: Standard on True/Lefevre retail gloves, the HZRDUS L95 glove is built around the popular 590 break. The most common break found in off-the-shelf gloves, the 590 break projects a wide catching shape with a neutral, more whole-handed closure.

SureGrip Palm: Internally, the HZRDUS L95 glove is lined with SureGrip, a high-tack embossed suede, offering a moisture-resistant grip with a comfortable, controlled feel.

Streamlined Backhand: Reshaped from the L20.2 glove, the HZRDUS L95 glove's streamlined backhand protects the fingers with a lighter, more flexible feel.

Padded Inner Glove w/ Velcro® Strapping: The HZRDUS L95 goalie glove wraps the hand in a plush padding, lined with a high-tack synthetic suede to ensure a comfortable, confident grip around the whole hand. To secure the HZRDUS L95 glove's premium inner wrap, easily-adjustable Velcro® straps fasten across the hand and fingers, complemented by an exposed pull strap at the wrist for quick on-ice adjustments.

Construction

Lightweight, Half-piece Cuff: Redesigned for the HZRDUS L95 blocker, a half-piece cuff improves response with a more direct connection between the palm and blocker board. Additionally, True's half-piece cuff helps to reduce binding between the blocker cuff and chest protector sleeves, improving range-of-motion in the wrist.

Bindingless, 615 Blocker Board: Redesigned from the L20.2 blocker's 595 profile, the HZRDUS L95 blocker's one-piece 615 board construction greatly reduces flex between the board and sidewall. On the ice, the HZRDUS L95 blocker's new 615 profile gives it a tight, responsive feel with a smooth curve to fire pucks into the corners.

Redesigned Sidewall and Thumb: Further reducing board flex, the HZRDUS L95 blocker's thumb-sidewall integration debuts a streamlined, more rigid design. In practice, this blocker's streamlined, more modern construction offers a lighter, more responsive package compared to previous True/Lefevre blockers.
