Construction- Composite-reinforced Thigh Rise: Continuing their year-by-year refinement, the Catalyst Nitro pads are built to put down a tight seal with a thin, composite-reinforced thigh rise, complemented by stiff foams that help to keep a rigid shape and fire pucks away from the 5-hole.
- Traditional, Knee Roll Face: Evolving from True/Lefevre's Catalyst pad lineup, the Catalyst Nitro pads take the ice with a classic knee roll face, comprised of dense foams that give the pads a wider range of rebound response.
- SCF Core Padding: New for the Catalyst Nitro pads, SCF foams not only reduce weight compared to previous Catalyst pads, but give goalies greater room to control rebounds with a tight balance between pop and control.
