Warrior's Covert line of goalie sticks debut with their pro-grade Covert QR. Familiar to fans of their Ritual M3 sticks, its precision asymmetric shaft and snappy low-kick point set the Covert QR apart as a staple for goalies looking to make quick clears and precise redirects.
Paddle Construction
Minimus Carbon 25: The Covert QR is built from Warrior's lightest and most responsive carbon-composite weave, Minimus Carbon 25. Standing out with a distinct checkered weave, formed from varying layers of high-strength carbon throughout the stick's composition; ready to dominate the crease with an ultra-light balance between control and response.
Recessed, Minimus Paddle Construction: The Covert QR's paddle is built around Warrior's Minimus Construction design, characterized by a narrow recession that runs down the back of the paddle. On the ice, Warrior's Minimus Construction flex channel directs loaded energy down the paddle, for a quick, powerful release.
Low Kick: The combination of Warrior's flexible Minimus paddle and rigid carbon fiber shaft kicks its loaded energy out lower down the paddle, giving the Covert QR stick a snappy, yet powerful release.
Shaft & Shoulder
Asymmetric Shaft Geometry: Warrior's asymmetric shaft is shaped to fit snug in the heel of your glove, providing a unique sense of control in shooting and quick, clean movements through the blocker.
SlideGrip: Compared to the Ritual V4 line-up of sticks, the SlideGrip finish on Warrior's newer Covert stick prioritizes a balance between grip and slide-feel with a more subtle grip coating across the shoulder and lower shaft.
HiFused, Minimus Carbon Composition: Formed from a high strength carbon-composite blend, Warrior's Covert goalie sticks are built for a responsive ultra-light balance without sacrificing durability.
Measurements: Manufacturers do not typically offer sizing guidelines for goalie sticks as individual play styles, stances, comfort preferences, and body dimensions vary widely.
Fitting: As a general guideline, start with a stick in the same age group (Youth, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior) as the rest of your equipment. Then, refer your height against the above table to find a generally recommended paddle length.
